REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

For appointment to this grade, a teacher must: -

i.  Have served in the grade of Senior Principal (Grade D4/TSC Scale 14) for a minimum period of three (3) years;

ii. Be a holder of Bachelor of Education (SNE option) or a Bachelor of Education plus Diploma in Special Needs Education(SNE);

iii. Have a Master’s degree in a relevant area;

iv. Have served as Deputy Director Finance and Administration (KISE)/Deputy Director  Academic and Students welfare (KISE) or Senior Principal in any public institution;

v.Have satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal and performance contracting process; and

vi. Meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution.

Applicants shall be required to upload the following documents during applications:

a. Letter of appointment to the current grade;

b. Letter of appointment/deployment to the current responsibility;

c. Certificate of Good Conduct from Director of Criminal Investigations;

d. Clearance Certificate by Higher Education Loans Board (HELB);

e. Clearance Application from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC);

f. Clearance Certificate from a Credit Reference Bureau;

g. Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA);

h. Highest academic certificate.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must:-

i.  Be a holder of Diploma in Education;

ii. Have served as Secondary Teacher II at T-Scale 7 (C2) for a minimum period of three (3) years;

iii.have satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process.

 Applicants shall be required to upload the following valid documents during applications:

a) Certificate of Registration as a Teacher.

b) Certificate of Good Conduct.

c) Clearance Certificate by Higher Education Loans Board.

d) Clearance Application from EACC.

e) Clearance Certificate from a Credit Reference Bureau.

f) KRA Tax Compliance Certificate.

g) Highest Academic Qualification

To qualify for deployment, a teacher must: -

i. Be at a minimum grade of C4, T-Scale 9, Senior Master IV.

ii. Be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or its equivalent.

NB: Master’s Degree in a relevant area will be an added advantage.

iv. meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and

v. meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

NOTE:

Candidates who are successful in the interviews shall be required to present valid Chapter 6 documents before they are appointed.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: -

i. be serving under Career Progression Guidelines;

ii. be currently assigned to perform the duties ofDeputy Principalat T-Scale 11 (D1);

iii. have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;

iv. meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution

Shortlisted Candidates shall be required to present the following statutory documents during interviews:

a. Certificate of Good Conduct from Director of Criminal Investigations.

b. Clearance Certificate by Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).

c. Clearance Application from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).

d. Clearance Certificate from a Credit Reference Bureau.

4. meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

NOTE:
